EisenTask

Privacy

Last updated May 28, 2026

EisenTask uses Google Tasks data only to show, update, and organize your own tasks. The app keeps the data use narrow and visible.

Google data

EisenTask requests Google profile, email, and Google Tasks access. Task titles, notes, due dates, completion status, completion dates, task list names, saved Google task context, source links, and assigned tasks from Google Docs or Chat spaces are used to display tasks, edit task titles, notes, due dates, create tasks, complete tasks, clear completed tasks, delete tasks, create task lists, rename task lists, delete task lists, and prioritize your own tasks.

Storage

Supabase stores your saved task list data, source links, completion dates, urgency and importance positions, recent updates, and private Google connection records for your signed-in account. It may also remember recently deleted Google items for up to 7 days or that completed tasks were cleared so older refresh activity does not bring them back. The browser stores signed-out task data, signed-in workspace preferences such as selected lists, selected task, search, and display size, and authentication session data on this device so work on this device can persist and the app can stay signed in. Use Settings, sign out, or browser storage controls to clear it.

Use limits

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, used to train models, or transferred to third parties except the services required to run the app: Supabase, Vercel, and Google APIs. EisenTask's use and transfer of Google user data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Use Settings to view or delete EisenTask's saved task lists, tasks, recent updates, priority layout, and saved Google connection. Confirmed deletion of an individual Google task or Google task list deletes that item from Google Tasks, and clearing completed tasks removes completed items from the selected Google task lists. After account data deletion, EisenTask may remember for up to 7 days that account data was deleted so older Google refresh activity cannot restore removed data; reconnecting clears that protection for future use. You can also email the privacy contact for account-level deletion requests.

Security

The app uses per-user access controls, HTTPS hosting, production sign-in protections, and the Google Tasks permission needed for task and task-list reading and updates. No system can be guaranteed perfectly available or secure.
