What Google Tasks access is for

EisenTask uses Google Tasks data only to run your task manager, save your requested edits, and let you review or delete saved EisenTask data in Settings.

Reads your Google Tasks

EisenTask loads your task lists, task titles, notes, due dates, and completion status so your matrix reflects the work already in Google Tasks.

Writes only your changes

When you create, edit, complete, clear completed tasks, rename, or delete tasks and task lists in EisenTask, those user-initiated changes are saved back to Google Tasks.

Stores your matrix layout

Urgency and importance positions are stored in EisenTask for your signed-in account. Google Tasks remains the source for task content.
